Amirmahmoud Houshmand Chatroudi

Post-doctoral researcher

Amirmahmoud received his Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Tokyo, where he investigated how entrained neural oscillations shape our perception of time. He earned his B.A. in Clinical Psychology and M.A. in Cognitive Sciences at the University of Tehran. In 2025, he joined Mental Barrier-Free Project at Sony Computer Science Laboratories (CSL) as a postdoctoral researcher. His current work sits at the intersection of neuroscience and architecture, exploring how nature-inspired design can foster mental well-being.
